About the Site

Discover the fascinating history of McGill, Nevada. From its start as a company copper mining town, the small town of McGill has managed to avoid the fate of many other mining towns and is still attracting residents.  One of the most interesting attractions is the historic McGill Drugstore. The drugstore/museum offers a unique glimpse into the past and is a must-see for anyone passing through the town. Town historian, Keith Gibson, provides insight and tours of the museum on given days. In addition to being the town's historian, Keith produces a weekly newsletter chock full of memories about McGill's heyday and current happenings. These newsletters are available on this website for all to enjoy.
